Articulated Aerial Work Platforms and work platforms offer horizontal outreach in addition to vertical lifting. These machines are self-propelled, allowing movement even with the booms in any raised position. Outriggers are not required, as stability is ensured by counterweights.
Machine types are available with battery (for indoor use) and diesel (for outdoor use) power sources.
Self-Propelled Work Platform = Efficiency and Safety
All articulated lifts we offer for rent or sale are self-propelled, enabling fast and efficient work at height. This is because they can move even when raised, eliminating the need to fold down the machine. Furthermore, they ensure safe work, as the lift itself moves and raises, removing the need to climb up and down facade scaffolding.
Outreach, Working Envelope Diagram
On our website, each articulated work platform features a working envelope diagram, which shows the outreach a specific machine type has at a given working height. The machine’s range can be compared to a spherical surface, meaning that at its maximum working height, the machine does NOT have its maximum outreach.
Battery Power Source
Battery-powered boom lifts and work platforms are used for indoor work because they can only lift on solid, level ground, and because they do not emit exhaust gases and are extremely quiet. The capacity of these machines is sufficient for an 8-10 hour shift, after which they need to be charged for 8-10 hours.
White, Solid Rubber
Battery-powered lifts are equipped with white, solid rubber tires that do not leave marks on the floor and are puncture-proof, thus making work safer.
