Articulated boom lifts and work platforms offer horizontal outreach in addition to vertical lifting. The machines are self-propelled, allowing them to be moved in any elevated boom position without the need for outriggers; stability is provided by counterweights.
Machine types are available with battery (for indoor use) and diesel (for outdoor use) power sources.
Self-Propelled Work Platform = Efficiency and Safety
All articulated boom lifts offered by us for rental or sale are self-propelled, which enables fast and efficient work at height, as they can move even when elevated, eliminating the need to retract the machine. Furthermore, they allow for safe work because the lift moves and elevates, rather than requiring climbing up and down facade scaffolding.
Horizontal Outreach, Working Diagram
On our website, each articulated work platform has a working diagram from which you can determine the horizontal outreach of a machine type at a given working height. The machine’s range can be compared to a spherical surface, meaning that at maximum working height, the machine does NOT have maximum horizontal outreach.
Battery Power Source
Battery-powered boom lifts and work platforms are used for indoor work because they can only lift on solid, level ground, and because they do not emit exhaust gases and are extremely quiet. The capacity of these machines is sufficient for an 8-10 hour shift, after which they need to be charged for 8-10 hours.
White, Solid Rubber
Battery-powered lifts are equipped with white, solid rubber tires that do not leave marks on the floor and are puncture-proof, thus making work safer.
