About Us

Our Story

“The story began simply. I was still an employee when I came into contact with a foreign company dealing with aerial work platforms. I quickly recognized the opportunities and challenges available here at home, and so MANLIFT was born in 2000.”

Our company literally started in a garage with two machines – today we have around a hundred. In 2010, my son, István, also joined us, and today he is responsible for sales. We like to think of our company as something we built from scratch and nurtured as carefully as our own child. Building this company was both a challenge and a joyful task.

What We Do

For over 25 years now, we have been involved in the rental, sale, and servicing of self-propelled aerial work platforms. We know well that this is not an industry one dreams of as a child, yet we genuinely love our work. We know most machines like the back of our hand; in fact, we even have our favorites. When we encounter a new type, we are still able to learn about the latest developments with the same enthusiasm as a child receiving a new toy.

Our Principles

From the very beginning, we have had two unwritten principles: one is that we keep our promises. The other is that we only participate in deals where both parties win. It sounds simple, but it has taken many years of hard work for our partners and clients to know us this way.

Win-Win

We are aware that the client is purchasing a service, which is far more than a simple machine rental or purchase. We never let our client leave without having chosen the machine they truly need. We know well that as ‘outsiders,’ many questions arise regarding aerial work platforms, but we don’t hesitate to take the time to answer them.

We are not a company where clients cannot ask questions; quite the opposite. Over more than 25 years, we have learned a great deal about client needs, problems, machines, and the industry’s operations, and we are happy to share this knowledge with others if we see that both parties can benefit from it.

Our Mission

And we never, not for a moment, forget that human lives are at stake! We never take lightly the rules for working at height, and we consider it our mission to make others aware of them. Our goal is for all our clients to be able to perform their work efficiently, quickly, and most importantly, safely with the equipment rented from us. Only machines in perfect technical condition may leave our company’s premises, and we strive to impart as much knowledge as possible to our clients on how they can protect their employees working at height.
